Our Journey
HG Tarun Gauranga Das was born in Khopoli, and today he has the opportunity to offer his seva in his birthplace by spreading Krishna consciousness. Truly, Lord Krishna fulfilled the desire of His pure devotee.
It became evident that the Yuga-avatar, Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu along with Lord Nityananda Prabhu, had mercifully manifested Their presence in the Khopoli area. The beautiful weekly program structure we witness today is the result of the sincere efforts, dedication, and tireless service of many devotees.
These devotees have worked selflessly to realize the vision of H.H. Radhanath Swami Maharaj, who steadfastly follows the instructions and teachings of Srila Prabhupada. Thus, what began as a simple temple hall has now transformed into a beautiful spiritual home for Their Lordships in Khopoli.

HG Tarun Gauranga Das Prabhuji
A Journey of Dedication and Service
HG Tarun Gauranga Das Prabhuji is a sincere disciple of Radhanath Swami and a dedicated preacher in the mission of ISKCON.
His spiritual journey began in 2009 while he was pursuing his M.Sc. at the Institute of Science, Mumbai. During this time, he came in contact with the devotees of ISKCON Chowpatty, which gradually awakened his interest in Krishna Consciousness.
In 2011, he began his professional career as a full-time lecturer and served for nearly three years. Despite a promising academic path, his growing attraction to the teachings and life of Lord Krishna inspired him to explore deeper spiritual knowledge. He began sincerely studying sacred scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.
With a strong desire to dedicate his life to devotional service, he joined the ISKCON Brahmachari Ashram in 2011. During his early years in the ashram, he rendered various services including deity decoration, distribution of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s transcendental books, and kitchen seva.
In 2016, he was entrusted with the responsibility of Book Depot President, where he actively managed and led book distribution marathons. He continues to serve enthusiastically in this seva.
From 2018 onwards, he began preaching through various satellite programs of ISKCON Chowpatty across the Mumbai region, helping spread Krishna Consciousness to a wider audience.
In 2021, inspired by the teachings of Tukaram Maharaj, he felt a deep calling to preach in Khopoli, his birthplace. With the support of devotees like Nidhivan Das, Satish Prabhu, and Madhavi Solanki Mataji, he initiated preaching activities in Khopoli, contributing to the growth of devotional programs in the area.
Through his humility, dedication, and deep spiritual conviction, HG Tarun Gauranga Das Prabhuji continues to inspire many on the path of Krishna Consciousness.
