The Guiding Lights of Our Spiritual Journey

Srila Prabhupada

Founder-Acharya of ISKCON

His Divine Grace
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

In 1965, at the advanced age of 69, Srila Prabhupada traveled from India to New York City aboard a cargo ship, carrying only a few rupees and a trunk full of transcendental literature. His mission, given to him by his spiritual master, was to spread the message of Lord Krishna to the English-speaking world.

Against all odds, he founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1966. Within just a decade, he established 108 temples, initiated thousands of disciples, and translated over 70 volumes of authoritative Vedic literature, including the Bhagavad-gita As It Is and Srimad-Bhagavatam.

"Books are the basis, preaching is the essence, utility is the principle, and purity is the force."

Our Inspiration

His Holiness
Radhanath Swami Maharaj

H.H. Radhanath Swami is a direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada and a beloved spiritual guide to thousands worldwide. His remarkable spiritual journey from the suburbs of Chicago to the caves of the Himalayas is chronicled in his international bestseller, The Journey Home.

Today, he is the driving force behind ISKCON Chowpatty (Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Mandir) in Mumbai. Under his compassionate leadership and deep emphasis on Vaishnava relationships, the community has grown into a thriving hub of devotion, inspiring satellite centers and preaching bases like ours in Khopoli.

His teachings constantly remind us to cultivate humility, tolerance, and a deep appreciation for the service rendered by others.
